A tragic incident occurred in Shirlaalu village where Nemoo, aged 62, was cutting branches from a cinnamon tree. The tree uprooted and fell on him, causing severe injuries. He was rushed to Belthangady Government Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. His son has filed a complaint with the Venoor police station. ಬೆಳ್ತಂಗಡಿ: ಗೆಲ್ಲುತುಂಡರಿಸುವ ವೇಳೆ ಮರವೊಂದು ಬುಡ ಸಮೇತ ಉರುಳಿ ಬಿದ್ದು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಮೃತ ಪಟ್ಟ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ಶಿರ್ಲಾಲು ಗ್ರಾಮದ ನೇಮು (62) ಎಂಬವರು ಬಡಗಕಾರಂದೂರು ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಕಂಬಳದಡ್ಡ ಎಂಬಲ್ಲಿಖಾಸಗಿ ಜಮೀನಿನಲ್ಲಿದಾಲ್ಚಿನ್ ಮರಕ್ಕೆ ಹತ್ತಿ ಮರದ ಗೆಲ್ಲನ್ನು ತುಂಡರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಸಮಯ ಮರವು ಬುಡ ಸಮೇತ ಕಿತ್ತು ಬಿದ್ದು ಗುದ್ದಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ತೀವ್ರ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡು ಪ್ರಜ್ಞಾಹೀನರಾಗಿ ಇದ್ದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬೆಳ್ತಂಗಡಿ ಸರಕಾರಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದಾಗ ವೈದ್ಯರು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಮೃತರ ಪುತ್ರ ವೇಣೂರು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಗೆ ದೂರು ನೀಡಿದ್ದು ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದೆ.
